When you believe the word, it produces results by itself. The word of God is truth. The word of God is spirit. Okay, let me explain a little from some other perspective for you. Let me give you something scientific now, right? From the Bible, right? In Leviticus chapter 17 and verse 11 here what the Bible says.

For the life of the flesh is in the blood.

Lev 17:11

That is science. Now the life of the flesh is in the blood. That’s interesting. So your blood is where your life is for your body, right?

That’s interesting. That’s interesting. So God knew before before anybody found out about it. He knew because he made it. The life of the body he says is in the blood. That’s where it is. That’s where it is.

Now I want you to go to Oh, let’s read further. I think you need to see a couple of things here. Okay. So, he goes, “And I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.” Wow.

That’s life for life. That’s what he’s telling you.

Therefore, I said unto the children of Israel, no soul of you shall eat blood.

Are you following this?

He told the children of Israel, “Not a one of you should eat blood.” You know, some people boil blood and have it congealed and they start eating it. So therefore I said unto the children of Israel, no soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger who sojourns among you eat blood. Don’t eat blood, he says. And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourns among you, which hunts and catches any beast of fowl that may be eaten, he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

For it is the life of all flesh, the blood of it is for the life thereof. Therefore, I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh, for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof, whoever eats it shall be cut off.

He warns the people, don’t eat blood. Now, idoltors and those in satanic cults eat and drink blood. They do. And it’s bad. But that’s not what I want to talk about. But I want you to have this on your mind first before we go to the next part that we’re going to read. Have this clearly in your mind. Okay. All right. So, I want you to go to St. John’s Gospel, chapter 6, and let’s begin reading from verse 54.

Jesus speaks here, “Who so eats my flesh and drinks my blood hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” Now he’s talking to Jews whom God told they must not eat blood. They’re not supposed to drink blood or eat blood. And they’re not supposed to eat human beings.

Do you get it? Then Jesus says, “Who so eats my flesh and drinks my blood hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.” If you were a Jew there, what would you do to Jesus? You’ll be mad at him.

He’s not done yet. Keep reading. Next verse. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwelleth in me and I in him. What? Let’s read on.

As the living father had sent me, and I live by the father, so he that eats me, even he shall live by me.

Now you can understand why they would have hated him. How can this man say he’s from God? God told us not to eat blood or drink blood. Right now he’s telling us to eat his flesh and drink his blood. So they think this is terrible.

Next verse.

“This is that bread.” He’s still talking to them. This is that bread which came down from heaven. Not as your fathers did eat manna and are dead. He that eats of this bread shall live forever.

Next verse.

These things said he in the synagogue as he taught in Capernaum while he was teaching. He was saying these things in the synagogue. Many therefore look at it. Many therefore of his disciples when they had heard this said this is an hard saying. Who can hear it?

They were upset at Jesus, angry at Jesus. Many of his disciples. Look at that. Because the Bible tells us that Jesus had a multitude of disciples. 12 of them were made apostles. But there was a multitude of disciples. Okay. All right. Next.

When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples mumbled at it, he said unto them, “Does this offend you? Next verse.

What? And if you shall see the son of man ascend up where he was before it is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profited nothing. “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” Keep moving. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believe not and who should betray him. And he said, “Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me except it were given unto him of my father.” I want you all to read verse 66.

One to go.

You see that they were angry at his teaching. How can he say that we should eat his flesh and drink his blood? From that time, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. They didn’t understand his message.

Go to verse 63. Look at what he says. It is the Spirit that gives life. It is the Spirit that invigorates. It is the spirit that gives life. It is the spirit. They have their minds on bread. They have their minds on the flesh.

When he says, “Except you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood, you don’t have any life in you.” Look at this. It says it is the spirits that quicken it. The flesh profits nothing. They were too impatient to understand him. This was the key to understanding what Jesus said.

It is the spirit that gives life. He says the flesh profited nothing. So when he said if you except you eat the flesh of the son of God and drink his blood you have no life in you. What was he saying?

Who is Jesus? That was the point. Who is Jesus? In St. John’s Gospel chapter 1 verse 14. Look at it. And the word read it from the NKJV.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The word became flesh.

Who is Jesus? They didn’t know who he was. So if they were looking at him as an ordinary man, when he says, “Except you eat my flesh and drink my blood,” they’ll be looking at his physical body. They didn’t know who he was. He was the Word of God become flesh.

They forgot that in Proverbs chapter 4 and verse 22. See what the Bible says. In fact, let’s read it from verse 20, okay? To verse 22. You You need to see it. My son, attend to my words. Incline your ear unto my sayings. What are the words of God? The words of God are the sayings of God. The things that God says. All right? So he says, “Attend to my words. Incline your ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh.” You see that God’s word is life.

The things that God says, the sayings of God, he says they are life to those that find them and health. Health to their flesh. That’s the Word of God that became flesh and dwelt among us. So Jesus says it is the spirit that gives life. The flesh profits nothing. So it was not about eating his body. No, it was about believing his word.

If you received his word, you received him. You got everything. Are you following this now? Yes. How important this is. It is the spirit. When you believe his word, you are believing him because he was the Word of God that became flesh. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. Hallelujah.

Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. He’s the Word of God made flesh. Thank you, Lord. How gracious God is. Through the Word of God, we can all receive the life that he gives. No matter where we are in the world, when you receive his word, you receive his life.

That’s the way you receive the life of God into you. You receive his word. Remember what he said. I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am the way, the truth, and the life. He is the truth. He’s the life.

In St. John’s Gospel chapter 17, take a look at verse 17. It’s so beautiful. He says, “Sanctify them through your truth. your word is truth. Your word is truth. What does that mean? Your word is reality. It doesn’t matter what the symptoms are telling you. Anybody can interpret the symptoms to you. Believe the word, not the symptoms. Believe the word.

We were listening to some testimonies a moment ago and one of the brothers who spoke shared with us what the doctor said to him that he’ll never walk again. His brain will not function well again.

He will never he he’ll not be able to recognize his family members anymore. But he was here today. His brain is normal. Everything is normal. He’s walking. You saw him running. See that? You saw that video. He was running. But in their scientific knowledge, he’s not supposed to be able to walk again. The Word of God is truth. The Word of God is reality.

But isn’t it wonderful that we can believe in Jesus Christ, the son of the living God, and be made whole? It’s amazing. It’s wonderful. It’s wonderful. It’s wonderful. Jesus said, “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” That’s wonderful. That’s wonderful.

He says when we are together in his name, he’s right there with us. Can you believe it? He says only believe.

Believe that what he said is absolute truth. He never exaggerated. He never lied to anyone. Everything he ever said was absolute truth. Every condition, no matter what it is, will be reversed to perfection. Hallelujah!
