 Jesus Christ, the True Light

Oh, never was there a man that was so difficult to describe. How can you describe him? You can only describe him with his own words. See, you can only describe him with his own words. You see, He is light. How can you describe light? The only thing that can describe light is a greater light.

You see it? Only a greater light can describe light. Nothing else describes light. He’s the only one who describes himself. And he tells us who he is. The true light that lightth every man that comes into the world. He’s the true light. You see, we’ve got lights in this room, right?

And if I asked you, “What’s the color of this man’s shirt?” You’d say, “Yellow.” Right? If I say to you, “What’s the color of this lady’s dress?” You would say red, right? But they’re only yellow and red because of the light that’s coming on them under this light. This is yellow because

all the other colors are absorbed and yellow is reflected to your eyes. That’s why this one is yellow. And you turn to this, whatever color it is, all the other colors have been absorbed and red is reflected to you. So, it looks red to you. If we change the light, these colors will change.

Did you ever get into a boutique and you wanted to buy something, a dress, a shirt, a suit, a bag, and then you picked it and you looked at it, it looked like, I really love this. Then you said, “Can I just take a look at it under another light?” You open the door. I don’t want this one. The color changed because the light was different. You’re

not going to be using it inside that boutique. You better take it outside and take a good look at it. So, the Bible says Jesus is the true light. Wow. They take you for an X-ray. X-ray is light. is a type of light. What the ordinary lights cannot see. The X-ray can go through your body and see it. That’s why they do that. But imagine this. Even though it’s a light, it is not the true light. Jesus Christ is the true light, my brothers and sisters.

Faith, Fear, and the Reports We Hear

You may go to the hospital and they use the X-ray or the MRI. They might use all of those things to look at your body and tell you, “We found this and we found that.” How about when you use the word of God, the word of God is a true light. Use it to look inside you. You’re going to see something different. I’ll never forget when the Lord showed me a man. He says, “This man was diagnosed with cancer.” Then he said to me, “Look at him.” And I looked at him and the Lord said, “You see, there’s no cancer. He has no cancer.” But he was diagnosed with cancer. And I looked and there was no cancer. Then the Lord said, “But he will die of cancer.” I said, “Lord, why would he die of cancer? You said he don’t have got cancer.” He said, “Because he believes it.” He believes it. He believes he’s got cancer.

So, he’ll die of cancer. What life do you want to live? Listen, there are there are many people who will go to the doctor or to the hospital and they will say, “How are you alive? How are you alive? You shouldn’t be alive because by their books they look at you and they look at no no this guy. No, no, no.

Move into the hospital quickly. Because they say your heart is not good, your kidneys are not good, your lungs are not good, everything is not good. They said, “Are you sure you’re sleeping well?” You say, “I sleep fine.” They said, “No, no, no. Something’s wrong.” Now imagine that you didn’t think anything was wrong. You just came for a checkup. And then they say, “You are dying.” And you go, “What? They say, “Well, your heart has a problem. It’s not beating right. Your kidneys are down. Your lungs are almost down. We don’t even know how you are breathing.” From what they telling you already, you are going like, he says, “Are you married?” “Yeah.” I said, “Tell your wife to come quickly.” the sickness you didn’t know before has started. Then they say, “Hold on. We have to perform some more tests. So, you’re waiting.” They do some more tests. They say, “From what we see, there’s a growth inside the body. Uh, it’s cancerous.

Um, we’re looking in to see uh then they come back and they say it’s terrible. In fact, you have 6 months to live. Doctor, please, what can you do? Please already you are dying. They gave you 6 months. Now you can’t even think of 6 months. You are thinking like 3 days. U I’m you see what changed the information and for many they’ll say I’m glad I went for the test. I would have known that I was dying. When I got there, they told me I was dying. You went to the wrong place. You went to the wrong place. You should have gotten into your Bible. Are you listening to me?

Choosing Faith in Difficult Circumstances

There’s already a report from the book. If you live according to the word of God, you will be triumphant. Everything that is not of God will pass out of your body. He told you. He said, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.” Then he

told you, “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the cause according to his purpose.” He didn’t say some things. He says all things. Oh, did you find a growth inside my body? It’s working for my good. It’s working for my good. It’s working for my good.

It’ll turn out for my good. I refuse to panic. I refuse to be afraid. Listen, why? Because all things work together for good to them that love God. I love God. Look at it’s written there. Look at it. And we know. He says, “We know.” We know. We know. It’s not a speculation. It’s not a conjecture. Look at it. We know

that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the cause according to his purpose. I’m called according to his purpose. I love God. All things are working for my good. Tell somebody, turn out for my good. Every situation in my life, in my life will turn into a testimony.

It will turn into a testimony. It’ll turn into a testimony. Glory to God. Woo. Hallelujah. Your life is for a testimony. Are you hearing me? You are not an ordinary person. Because you love God and you’re called according to his purpose. Your life is for a testimony. Shout amen. Somebody tell three people, “I know who I am.” I know who I am.
